Mrs. Sita Mahalaksmi heads The JHANA JYOTHI INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL. She is one of the dynamic leaders who never fail to support their teams and children in the face of adversity yet is humble enough to learn everyday from anyone around. She sets a great example of strength and simplicity through her leadership style. She firmly believes that actions speak louder than words.

A Bangalorean by origin, she has a Masters degree in Science and has More than 20 years of experience in the education industry. she is an avid promoter of sports in schools. She is passionate about organizing cultural activities.

Chairman's Message

Education today is no longer confined to the four walls of the classroom. All-round efforts are being made to provide qualitative, value-based, activity-oriented education at JJIS. We are striving for excellence in this direction has led us to believe that the interest and curiosity of a child has to always be kept alive. We provide a conducive and congenial atmosphere in the school so that the activities of teaching and learning are done successfully.
At JJIS we believe that every child is an individual, and each one of them has multiple sparks hidden in them. We shall Endeavour to nurture and kindle all those sparks, to light the fire of committed living and channelize the same to bring in enlightenment and warmth.

Activities

Math’s Magic

The college a NSS unit of 100 volunteers led by a trained programme officer. The NSS unit conducts verity of activities such as Blood Donation. Tree Plantation, Environment Protection. Eye Check-up. Awareness about drug abuse etc., besides weekly campus cleaning and an annual camp.

Cultural Activities

Apart from imparting a formal education the school emphasizes in strengthening and inculcating a rich cultural heritage in each child. By celebrating the National and other religious festivals, the school fosters feeling of secularism, brotherhood and oneness. It also gives importance to physical and mental activities to bring about overall development of a child.

Communication Classes

To help children succeed in today's world with confidence, it is important to equip them with strong communication skills. The school has introduced spoken english classes for all students which are conducted by specially appointed, qualified and experienced guest faculty

Yoga & Meditation Classes

Yoga plays a vital role in the physical and mental growth of a child. Keeping this in mind, the school has introduced yoga classes for class 5 to 8, handled by experts in the field.

Parent's Meet

Parents are encouraged to participate and offer valuable suggestions towards school improvement. Regular meeting with parents are held to inform them of their child’s progress.

A day in the life of the school

The day starts at 9:00 am with a morning assembly followed by a short silent prayer, reading of the newspaper stating the important news headlines every day and followed by physical activities day warm up exercises.

Our son Tejas C S has been studying in this school for last 4 year’s. We found environment of the school safe, homely and teachers are very affectionate and encouraging. All staff members are caring and disciplined. The study material is distributed timely. Efforts are made for development of child in every field. It is our pleasure to have a school in vicinity of our campus. My child is also fond of this school.

Our son Master Shikhar Kumar at JJIS since its inception. I am fairly satisfied with the overall performance in the co-curricular and extra-curricular activities of our son. This has only been possible by the hard work and continuous encouragement by the teachers and other Administrative Staff of the school coupled with their positive attitude and affectionate behavour.

JJIS is a nice school with good Teaching Faculty. It has all the facilities required for a good school like playground, smart boards, clean classroom, etc. Most of its students are disciplined. The transport facility in this school is very good. All the teachers in this school are very polite and sophisticated.Having digital classrooms which satisfies the motto of this school i.e. ‘Taking Education Towards Edutainment’.
